Leyva's Mexican Food - El Monte

The lengua burrito in green chili is amazing! The horchata is great as well! The bakery is decent.

I visited this restaurant to buy food for a homeless-looking man I had seen at a crossroads a couple of times. I decided to get a Burrito De Machaca for him. However, when I returned, he was not there. Since I hadn’t mentioned my intention to him, I took the burrito home for my lunch and ended up eating it myself. Thank goodness, because it was the best burrito I’ve ever had! I’m also grateful that the man wasn’t there, as it gave me the opportunity to enjoy this delicious meal. I hope that he is able to find food from someone else.
