Mcdonald's - El Monte

McDonald's consistently maintains a clean environment and serves delicious food quickly. The staff is friendly, and my kids really enjoy dining there.

I ordered a hot chocolate, but what I received was just a warm chocolate. The seasoned employee explained that this is how it comes out of the machine. I pointed out that it should be called warm chocolate, not hot chocolate, and asked if they could microwave it to make it hot. The employee, who I believe was the manager, refused, saying they couldn’t take things back, and started to walk away. I then suggested that he could just take the warm chocolate back and give me a new one, to which he finally agreed. It felt like he didn’t care and was trying to ignore my issue. They eventually gave me another warm chocolate. Why do they always blame the machines? However, there was a new employee nearby who was much nicer, understood my concern better, and apologized sincerely. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, and this new employee's attitude definitely improved my experience. I almost rated them a 5, but I was ready to give a 3 due to the manager’s attitude. Thanks to the new employee, I settled on a 4. Date of visit: 2022-02-21.

I frequent this restaurant and find the service to be quite good. It's rare for me to encounter any unkind attitudes. A big thank you to all the friendly staff!
