I went back and ordered the tikka masala with tofu, which was decent but not as good as the Thai curry. It was a bit watery and not as creamy as I had hoped. Overall, it gave me some goulash vibes. - Previous review on 2022-03-10.
The restaurant owner is a vegetarian, so all the dishes are vegan with options to add tofu as a protein. Our favorite dishes were the Malaysian noodles, Tiki-Masala, and fresh watermelon juice. The Thai curries are a bit thinner than what we are used to, but overall everything is quite tasty and the portions are huge. Just keep in mind they are closed on Tuesdays! I ordered the Malaysian noodles with peanut butter and tofu.
We tried nearly everything on the menu in our few days staying here, and every meal we were blown away. The Thai green curry was our favorite, but nothing disappointed. We debated ordering three meals for the two of us whenever we sat down because the food is that good! Portions are huge and the flavors are on point, absolutely no complaints. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about veganism.
If you don't speak Spanish, this could be the easiest option in El Paredon. Just tell them the dish and tofu and you have a delicious vegan meal. normally, I prefer local food, but once in a while Asian food is a good alternative. will definitely come back while in El Paredon!
