Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo

Went for a private showing of a friend's movie. Movie was great! It has been a while since I have been to the theater (pre-covid last time). Things have changed. While the seats are comfy, I'm not sure about how they're done... I was by myself and the seat is really wide, like a large lounger. Well, halfway through the movie, someone came and asked me to scoot over so they could sit next to me... the rest of the movie was a little awkward as I couldn't move without touching the stranger next to me... and then the food. They never came to take my order but when the person next to me sat down, they came and took his order and ran away before I could even say excuse me. So it is what it is... the seat was comfy, but not with a stranger next to me...

We went today for a 2 pm showing at the location on the West side. It was our first time going the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the grilled chicken club and chicken wings. We were not impressed sandwich had no flavor chicken breast was not seasoned there was no sauce on the sandwich. Chicken wings were soggy not season Inhave had better sauce at other places. We paid 54.66 for the sandwich, wings 2 drinks and 3 cookies. Food was bland seat was a little uncomfortable. Theater screen and sound were good.

We come for trivia with Geeks Who Drink on Tuesdays in the taproom, which is always super fun. The service is hit or miss, but everyone is nice. Free community popcorn. Decent happy hour ?? The food on the menu is actually quite tasty, have had the Buffalo pizza, soft Pretzel (soft and delicious), fried pickles, French fries, all good. I ordered the brussel sprouts pizza in a movie, and it was dry. More cheese please!

Beautiful theater! Very efficient , clean and the service is second to none. Excellent ! And the food and drinks were delicious. Movie quality and sound and comfort is also top notch! Will definitely be a first choice theater for future viewings.

The place is SO comfortable ? like you can watch a 10 hours movie and still be happy. The waiters are so nice! And the sound and cuality of the movie are great ?
