Cuauhtemoc Cafe - El Paso

So my man and I were out, and we decided to check this place. they have a drive, but we decided to eat. very clean, friendly staff and were used immediately. our waitress was super friendly and made the experience much more pleasant. we told her that this was the first time and what she recommended. they said all platos Mexican were really good and the garnel tacos. my man has ordered a limonada with the chile relleno and I have a horchata with the garnelen tacos. his plate came with flour tortillas that were so delicious, and our waitress let us know that the rellenos were just finished so that they were hot from the heart. they were not greasy and looked like they were pan fried vs deep. they were seriously and ate both rellenos who came with the order. my shrimp tacos were amazing! it came with 3 tacos, rice and pommes. the tortillas were really good and each taco had 2 med/big garnels inside. they were easily fried, so they had a good cripple with each bite. they put up a soak that had a little kick, but was more soft and savory than spicy. the riders are homemade, but very well done. so far some of the best garnel tacos I had! I also really enjoyed the horchata that was sweet (my man said it was super sweet, but it was perfect for me, but it helped me to enjoy the salsa that came with our meal, the spicier as I thought. all in all, my man and I enjoyed our food and can not wait to try more out their menu, but I will admit we were not the biggest fans of the rice. it was easy to overwhelm with the seasoning. but it wasn't such a big thing that we still feel that the place deserves 5 stars and will probably be a new favorite of me.

This place is great! I originally went to one of the chain restaurant breakfast places when my driver made a suggestion to give this place a try. so glad that he did. maria was amazingly attentive and fast and made a good suggestion for me. I had a plate of rührei, the fried beans hash browns sausage and coffee for less than $10. would recommend everyone!

Maria was amazingly attentive and fast and made a good suggestion for me. I had a dish with scrambled eggs, roasted beans Hash Brown's sausage and coffee for less than $10. Would recommend everyone!!!!

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was extremely welcoming.

We've been coming here for years. The food is amazing and the plates servings are great. Your warm tortillas and food are delicious! Elsa is the best and always treats us like family, makes us feel at home. I recommend these restaurants to others looking for delicious Mexican food!
