La Cocina De Martha - El Paso

Martha's dining experience is amazing! The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and you can taste the love and freshness put into the food. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal!

The dining experience was excellent. Martha was very friendly and the service was wonderful. They even brought us some delicious appetizers.

Martha deserves more love, or at least more business. The construction work that disabled access to her restaurant for months took a toll on her business. I visited for lunch on a warm Friday afternoon and found only one other diner in the restaurant. It's a shame because Martha's is one of the best Mexican restaurants in El Paso. Despite being Anglo, I know good Mexican food when I taste it. Martha treats you like a guest in her home. She greets you as you enter, takes your order, checks in on you, and even does the cooking. The food is excellent. I tried the enchiladas and the red sauce was packed with flavor. The dish wasn't drowned in cheese like many other places do. The beans (offered fried, whole, or charro) were delicious and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes, such as her mole and chile rellenos.
