Little Shack - El Paso

I had forgotten how absolutely delicious this place is. Every penny spent is worth it! We shared a taco each among three friends, trying the alambre, fish, and little shack (shrimp) options. While the alambre was tasty, I wouldn’t order it again since you really want to go for the seafood! The little shack and fish tacos are to die for! The fish soup was even better than the shrimp, as it had more meat in it—so yummy! I can’t say enough good things about it. Just a heads up, if you’re visiting the location near the university, they don’t serve the burgers or the 7 seas dishes (although she mentioned they were just out of one item, but I can’t recall which; it might have been the burgers). Overall, a fantastic experience all around!

I arrived at 9:10 PM on a Saturday night and was informed that only takeout was available. The service wasn't great. Cristina seemed eager for us to place our order quickly and leave, and she appeared quite unhappy. Several other customers walked in to dine but left once they learned it was takeout only. I've been a fan of the food here for years because it's fantastic, but I was disappointed to find that I could only order to go this time.

The food is excellent. We highly recommend the fish or shrimp tacos, as well as the green aguachile.
