I also enjoyed the large room, mini fridge and microwave, the shower, and my favorite-the jetted tub!It was such a treat to end a full day of hiking with a nice Epsom Salt bath. There was also a fireplace which would be great in the winter.I would not recommend the breakfast at the restaurant. In addition to being an extra charge it tasted awful. My husband is a chef and he said it was the worst biscuit he’s ever had and the staff ignored us for 5 minutes when we arrived. The comforters are not warm. I would recommend bringing your own blanket. We didn’t use the pools, but there is an indoor and outdoor pool. Also another restaurant that we never ate at (it was busy when we went in. The large store and gift shop was nice to have available. It does seem like the extra charge to an outside company for Wi-Fi is excessive.Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would stay again.
Wifi is 10 bucks (1 day) still doesn't work sometimes. You don't have any other way for internet cause you are right between the mountains. Room only has a fridge and old tv (No microwave) and breakfast is really expensive. The Location is really nice tho.
This place feels like a tourist trap. With an almost $300 price tag, it offers experience close to a motel. You need to drive to your room and climb up the stairs with your luggage. No cell phone signal, no free wifi. They shut down the AC during the day, so the room was very hot when I get there, it took several hours to cool it down. The only good thing is relatively close(not that close) distance to the Yosemite valley.
A very comfortable stay with a great view. the service here was quick and staff was courteous. their gift shop has a great variety and is also on the inexpensive side from amongst all gift shops in Yosemite. The restaurant is amazing both for food and service.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was a good size, and it was entertaining to see the kids manage without internet! The location is very convenient for visiting Yosemite, so I would definitely recommend it. Although the restaurant was closed, the bar was open, and I had dinner there once—it was fantastic. Our bartender, who also served us, was wonderful. The kids really enjoyed the pool as well. Even though there was some construction going on, it didn't bother us at all, which was surprising. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked! Additionally, the hotel is very close to Yosemite, and I felt safe in the environment.
