Your website says the restaurant is “Mexikan Grill with a Edge” – and a pretty edge it has. Take for example his popular “BBQ duck tamale” – a friend of mine fell in love with this historical drool-worthy bunch of corn-chunky sweet masa topped, tenderly shredded duck pieces — therefore the food from 7 people. But this is not the only worthy item on the menu — the short ribs were also divine, melt in your mouth, sitting on Chipotle infused potatoes. Although, the dish was expensive for only 2 and 1/3 boneless ribs and 2 really tiny squash-filled “empanadas” (imagine 2 bite-sized deep fried dumplings with a small dab of squash filling, each halved, and sitting cut side down in a row, on a pea pure visually reminded you of a thick wasabi scarf. Could be a better place for a special night...
