Stopped in for some lunch and a few beers. Their Pilsner is off the charts! A great variety of beers to choose from. The Tasty Maryland food truck was present serving delicious seafood and great prices. 1623 has a great outdoor patio space!
The place it self is well appointed, spacious and tasteful, quite unlike many craft breweries I have visited. I am from Grand Rapids, Craft Beer Capital of US, so. bit opinionated. 1623 gives Founders significant competition. Now on to the beer, I had a flight of their dark beer offerings and with the exception of the 1623 Stout, all were excellent in taste, color and presentation. For the record, 1623 stout was standard, rated a 3. The bartender was superb, she was on point but not pushy and knew her job well. I do not live in Eldersburg but if I did, I would certainly be a frequent visitor. Well done!
Super fun! The live music was great. My toddler had a blast. The seltzers were very good. Definitely coming back.
