Great Wall Chinese - Elgin

We read the reviews before going and made sure we had cash, lol. The food was made to order quickly. We got it home and it was still too hot to eat right away. Everything had great flavor, the fried dumplings are absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this place for take home Chinese. The Dragon and Phoenix was perfectly cooked and served side by side. Hot and Sour soup was spicy, but needed a little vinegar to get to my desired sour. Full of veggies and flavor, came with some crispy wontons. We also ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. Came with sauce on the side, as it should be, and was crispy and perfectly cooked. What a great meal.

This place has always been my favorite take out place. The owners are very sweet. They make spice adjustments if you ask and they have the best house fried rice I've ever had. The General Tso's chicken is a family favorite if you want a little kick of flavor. Overall always satisfied when I get their food.

Got food here twice and both times it was really good. Especially like the chicken fried rice.

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew were extremely nice and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Highly recommended.
