Original Country Donuts - Elgin

I grew up enjoying Country Donuts in Crystal Lake, and I have to say, the Elgin location is just as fantastic! I absolutely adore this local gem of a donut shop.

I had never visited this place before, but with the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we were looking for a safe outing. After reading excellent reviews, we decided to drive over an hour to check it out, and I’m glad we did! The donuts were incredibly fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be returning!

Open nearly 24 hours a day, everything is made from scratch on-site. The food always tastes fantastic and fresh, truly exceeding anything from Dunkin' Donuts!

Was craving some donuts after dinner and decided to pick-up a six-pack of donuts . Asked for a special treat for my dog and they crafted a hybrid pup-cup! Half whipped cream and a milkbone! Great service from the team last night! Thanks!

We love Original Country Donuts! Delicious donuts, great food and refreshing drinks! Very friendly staff and they allows get our orders right, every time!
