Elgin Country Kitchen General Store

What a lovely country home atmosphere! The food is fantastic, and the customer service is excellent! I truly appreciate the owner's dedication to providing such high-quality dishes.

PLEASE, don't let this place shut down... I really hope they find a buyer SOON.

I visited yesterday and was completely amazed by the experience. There was an incredible woman managing the entire restaurant, and she did it with such skill and confidence. The food not only looked stunning but tasted even better! She was the best waitress and host I've ever encountered; she even brought us a new dish from the menu to try. Her cooking is fantastic! It's the next day, and I'm still feeling full. You need to go—don't delay!

I dropped in today as I was in the area and thought it looked interesting. Definitely would have bought some of their smoked fish and meat but we are traveling but I will return. The owner produces the meat on her farm and she smokes the meats and fish for sale in the store Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
