Ashgrove - Elizabeth Town

The restaurant offers excellent food and amenities. I found it very intriguing that they use a lot of local ingredients, and the prices were fair.

Sitting on the outdoor deck, we enjoyed a wide selection of samples that we had paid to try. The pairings were excellent and the staff were accommodating, allowing us to change our booking time. This is a great spot for delicious toasted cheese sandwiches and omelets. I was envious of some of the dishes I saw being served to other patrons.

We had a cheese tasting experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and they had a great variety of cheeses to choose from. The kids enjoyed their time here as well. If you happen to be passing by, I would recommend stopping in for a visit.

I stopped in to buy some bulk parmesan off cuts, great value deal. I decided to grab an ice cream, lemon (and poppy seed I think )and strawberry. I was so disappointed. the lemon flavour was lacking it did not taste real. Similar the strawberry was also lacking in flavour. If you are after ice cream go to Van Diemens also in Elizabeth town. If you are after great cheese butter and delicious milk yep good quality I also purchased some of the new Amaze balls and not bad, but perhaps not something I would eat a lot of or buy again. Found them very salty.

While cheese was not being made, we purchased packs that we were able to take back to Queensland with us. Tried a Lancashire Cheese which is beautiful flavour.
