Squished up at the front counter though. The choc coated raspberries are so amazing. Not cheap but really worth buying a small container. My daughter had raspberry icecream. It was the best ice cream she has ever had she said. Such a bite to it. Next time I would love to sit in here.
This a beautiful place to visit in winter. We had the privilege to visit just recently and it was very romantic with log fire going but didn't realise how popular this place is. Great choices of food and desserts is a must. we walked along the paths and it was an interesting place to see. Gift shop has some nice selections of jams for presents.
We walked in to a warm cosy space surrounded by such a beautiful view of the raspberry farm and a lake. Menu is extensive with breakfast, brunch, lunch and dessert options... mostly raspberry themed desserts! Very generous servings for good value. Free samples of jams and relish and takeaway options available too. I recommend the pie and raspberry latte or raspberry hot chocolate. Service was great very friendly. Finished up with a walk around the lake - a must do!
We stopped here for breakfast after coming across on the Spirit of Tasmania, and I can definitely say it was one of the nicest breakfasts I've eaten out. I had the french toast and a raspberry latte both of which were delicious; although looking across at other breakfasts including the trout, eggs and home made crumpets made me want to visit again. While waiting for breakfast to arrive I managed to fit in a tasting of some of the raspberry products and was also offered a chocolate covered raspberry - yum! As well as the great food and friendly service we were also able to take a walk around the water and see a little of the raspberry farm including two very cute alpacas and our first sight of the native hens. Great experience for our first meal in Tasmania
The service is very friendly and the food is just just so delicious. The ingredients are fresh and it's cooked just for you. The views are exquisite and the walk about is a must do. Loved every moment. Want to go back.
