It is a little pricy, but considering that the owner buys very high-quality ingredients (I had several friends and relatives working there to confirm this, it is worth it. I see a lot of negative reviews about how fat the pizza is... Last time I checked that 's what happens when you heated a bunch of delicious cheese and pepperoni to lava-like temperatures. Yes, the thin stripe cut is a little creepy to eat, but if it changes into a traditional cake slice, you can bet I would be the first to call and complain. Greg 's is a local thing that only passersby through and transplants do not seem to capture...
Perfect. These guys know how to make food. Staff here are much nicer than the Johnson City Shop. The food is also much better. Very fast service. I ordered 4 sandwiches and the lady brought it to my table in less than 10 minutes. They are refilled drinks and was very pleasant to treat. The sandwich is so big that we had to take the remains home. Total
Tri-Cities Own. Gregs is a great pizza, I love it, Gregs is like no other pizza, based on the New York style some say its fat, but that from the fresh cheese not in a sack hair, but all fresh ingredients. Gregs is a good pizza.
It is nice to visit Elizabethton and stop and have pizza in Greg's. I've eaten her pizza since the middle of the 70s and it's just as good as it was.
A beloved local gem! You won’t be disappointed. The thin crust is topped generously, and the chewy dough is excellent. Be sure to try the spaghetti and the ham and cheese sandwich as well!
