Nanny's Country Kitchen - Elizabethton

The food is good, especially love the maize bread salad.... Problem is that every time without mistake they are out of something on the menu. Last time I was there, they were from the corn bread salad... bummer. Once my husband asked for a banana split. They came out and told him they were from pineapple, came back and said they were from wet nuts, came out and announced they were from bananas and offered to walk over the street and get some. My husband said it was okay, he just had a bananine split. It was a chocolate sun. It was still accused of cracking bananas.

Excellent food, quality and service! Especially the family days love! Wonderful chicken, meat dew and roast beef! My husband says the land ham can't beat. And if you never have maize bread salad, it must have a must! A little outside the city, but worth it, cost and quality! Nanny is a local secret that should not be a secret!
