Round Table Pizza - Elk Grove

I ordered a large pizza with double spinach for delivery, which ended up costing $49.00. I specifically requested pan crust and extra spinach, but was disappointed to receive a very thin crust with hardly any spinach at all. Spinach is not an expensive ingredient, so I was not impressed. Despite being too hungry to call and request a remake, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I am giving it two stars only because the delivery was quick and the delivery person was polite. Otherwise, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The service was excellent and very accommodating. They recommended some specials to help us save money. The interior was spotless and well-maintained.

We decided to try this restaurant instead of Old Town Pizza because it was busy. It turned out to be a mistake. The restaurant was empty for a reason - the service was slow and the food was disappointing. We had to ask for salad plates and glasses, and our server was preoccupied with making pizza instead of helping us. The pizza had no flavor and was the worst I've had in a long time. The salad bar was lacking, and my son even noticed that the peaches tasted sour. After trying them, I realized they were rotten and fermented. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they showed no concern and just took the container. We definitely won't be returning here. It's clear why the restaurant was empty while Old Town Pizza was busy. We should have been patient and waited for Old Town Pizza.

Worst Round Table in Elk Grove! I have been going to this Round Table for 35+ years, because of it's location. I will never go back. Too many bad experiences. This past experience was the worst, yet!! I ordered 3 pizzas at 4:00pm. Asked for them to be ready at 5:15pm. Got there at 5:20, one pizza was done. They said the other 2 were in the oven and it would be another 10-15 mins. I waited...after 20 minutes, I asked if they were ready. Two were ready, but they hadn't started the 3rd. I was so confused (don't you make the pizzas all together? I guess not, so we had to wait another 15 minutes until our 3rd one was done. No refund was offered (c'mon, at least for the 3rd pizza . There must have been 6-8 people working. It was Halloween and busy, but unacceptable customer service.

Round table makes some of the best pizza anywhere. If you don't like it, you didn't order it right.
