Dairy Queen - Elk River

I have visited this restaurant numerous times over the years. The service and food are always excellent. The young lady who took my order today has been with the restaurant for several years and consistently does a fantastic job. However, on the evening of 8/3/22, I noticed that the tables and seating were somewhat dirty and in need of a wipe down.

I requested a pup cup, which is usually complimentary at other Dairy Queens. However, this Dairy Queen charged me $3 for it, which was 75% of the cost of my Blizzard. To make matters worse, my Blizzard was not even turned upside down. Typically, other establishments provide one ounce pup cups for free. This experience was outrageous and I will not be returning.

The lady that runs the kitchen here is an awesome lady who is extremely hard working! She is willing to strike up a conversation and makes sure all the food is FRESH and WARM! I trust this DQ unlike the Big Lake one. If they lose that ladythough they will probably be in trouble. She is a rockstar! The hours are always changing due to staffing shortages but Istill love this DQ!

The Dilly bar was refreshing and the service was excellent. The waitress had some lovely tattoos on her left arm.

Friendly staff. Seem a bit overwhelmed but in their defense, there were cars backed up to get their orders in all the way to the street and half way to 169. Overall a 10. Peanut buster parfait for life!!
