However this time I was missing a milk shake and the cashier caught it as I was pulling away. Her mood was very professional and pleasant. That hasn't happened to me at this location in a long time. I will definitely not hesitate to return.
The kiosk allowed us to select an entire order before alerting us the payment station didn’t work. It then spit out a receipt for us take to the counter…but it was blank. The only worthwhile employee working during our visit found our order in the system and entered it for us. The store was brightly decorated for Grimace’s birthday…which is the only compliment I can offer in this review. We took a seat. The employee who took our order came out to inform us the Coke freeze wasn’t working so we switched to a different flavor. He later brought out the food after a longer than average wait given we were one of only three tables in the restaurant. The order was missing a sandwich. That prompted a visit to the counter. The fries were cold. That prompted a second visit to the counter. There was no ketchup anywhere in the dining area. That prompted a third visit to the counter. There were no less than ten employees visible at this establishment this day and only one seemed interested in whether or not our expectations were met was the same employee who processed our order, changed our drinks, brought the food, found the missing sandwich, replaced the fries, and provided ketchup. He hustled while everyone else moseyed around looking like they would rather be anywhere else. That man should find a better place to work because this location and staff do not rise to his level and are killing his efforts with their unquestionably low standards for performance. We ordered to dine in, but as the number of angry customers at the counter increased, we took our food and ate in the RV. I have disliked McDonalds since Covid…their prices have skyrocketed while their service has tanked…and I have found this to be the case across different states and cities, small towns and large. There is a culture of apathy. The experience reinforced my belief that Culver’s and Chick-fil-A deserve all our future business.
Once again, another shake machine is 'down '. At the window I asked How often is your shake machine down It seems that twice a week it automatically shuts down for cleaning. If you have a machine that arbitrarily shuts down for cleaning during your busiest time, you either need a different machine, more control over it or preventative maintenance ahead of time so you decide when it shuts down. Also, If someone doesn 't put enough mix in it, it goes into 'heat mode ' and we have to wait all day to use it. Today it needed a code so that it would start. Shake ice cream machines at a number of fast food joints are at issue. McDonald 's, Burger King etc. At least one in five times when I try to get a shake, I can 't because 'the shake machine is down '. Having used the app here, things were more complicated. This time I received a refund. The last time, in White Pigeon, Michigan, I was told there 's nothing we can do, you can 't cancel an order . They offered a substitute. Nothing I wanted so just lost the money. Clearly McDonald 's app isn 't ready. Order at the kiosk. It 's more reliable. You can cancel there.
I do not recommend at all! Staff are rude and the nuggets had black particles on them that made it look like they dropped them on the floor and still packed them. I will never return to this location and I do not recommend anyone go either.
The food was terrible. Additionally, this particular franchise location charges for condiments. I will definitely not be a returning customer.
