Phyls Corner - Elkhart

This place leans more towards being a bar than a grill. While they do offer burgers and quick bites, the food was quite good. The atmosphere is friendly and filled with smiling faces, although it also has the vibe that trouble could easily be found if that’s what you’re after. There are four pool tables, a dartboard, and a jukebox. On the night I visited, they had karaoke. Just a heads up, you need to be 21 or older with a valid ID to get in. I can’t rate it based on my personal preferences, but I can rate it based on the experience I had, which is why I’m giving it 5 stars.

As for the pool tables, they’re less than a year old, and if you enjoy playing, you should definitely come by. I can't guarantee we'll beat you, but I can promise you'll have a fun and friendly experience. The management and customers are mostly fantastic all the time—there are no fights, no weapons, and no problems at all. I would rate the bar a four out of five, but the fun? That’s an easy 10.

This is a charming little bar with a lively atmosphere and friendly patrons. However, it can be challenging to get a drink. I stood at the bar for about ten minutes while the bartender attended to a customer who kept ordering shots. Despite being right next to them, I wasn’t acknowledged at all, so I eventually decided to leave.
