Steak 'n Shake - Elkhart

When we would come to Elkhart we made a point of stopping here No longer Last year when we stopped, it was barely ok.

Avoid at all costsWe waited 5 mins to be seated when the place was half full, and nobody spoke to us about food/drinks for another 10 minutes.

Horrible experience, 20 min. Wait and still no acknowledgement. We were not the only ones that just walked out. AVOID!!!

Absolutely the worst culinary experience in our vacation. we are 76 and the order on her kiosk is terrible difficult. the burgers are now so small that it was ridiculous, the only worse burgers we ever had were mcdonald 's. oh, the pommes were still good. this will be our last stop at steak. they seem to be looking for short-term profitability and have abandoned long-term customer loyalty. so sad, we loved their restaurants.

I usually enjoy her double steakburger with cheese that I get, but the last couple of paints I ordered it was extremely salted. I personally don't like much salt, but my bf does and he said that his steakburger was excessively salted and all the others I ordered. the first time that I suspect was probably an accident, but about a month after this visit we would think that we will try again as the location is convenient and eat up to fast that has no quality that is not too far away and is not always over drive thru, we thought we would try again. I couldn't believe it. the same double steak burger with cheese we had ordered before were salted excessively, we got back! we were very disappointed, and unfortunately this led us not to return. I wondered if someone else has experienced the same problem at this place or whether it is a new standard to oversalt the eating, so it is unedible or cause customers high blood pressure (but sometimes I ask myself) I swear since the pandemic, quality seems like a thing of pastness. I have also read other commentary and think that they have to return 24 hours auto thru for people like truck drivers, for example, there is no longer anywhere they can go to a quick bite it seems. I miss pandemic times. quality, courtesy, cleanliness and quantity also went out of the window and we do not forget the higher prices for crappies services. this is not just a steak n shake problem. it's all. if someone who works at steak n shake reads my review if they could not already, please go to the salt a little easier. this is a courtesy request for all customers. I'm sure if someone wants a lot of salt, they ask it themselves. I am not exaggerated, our eating was practically unacceptable to visit the last two. one was later in the evening like 8 o'clock and the last visit was about 18 o'clock. thank you for reading my review.
