Priya’s Cooking School - Ella

Priyas amazing cooking class shows how easy to make amazing food. priya guides them with everything made from scratch, through 9 dishes, each as delicious as the last. we will recommend this to all my friends who travel to sri lanka as one must!

Beautiful dame offers traditional cooking course in fluent English language. our class was from 17 o'clock to 18 o'clock at 2500 lkr per person. roti, rice and like 8 different currys were cooked together on an outside terrace. they can get the recipes to their whatsapp or email after the class. bring them warm clothes, it could be cool and windy. google maps is wrong (below blue line on the picture)

With priya I had one of the most beautiful nights of my trip in sri lanka. priya is such a nice dame and shows them how to cook so many different curries while she really lets them participate in the cooking process and all ask answered. the dishes were all vegan, sooo delicious and they even get the recipe book afterwards. absolute recommendation!

We learned how to cook rice, lentils, roti and several vegan curries. The class was so much fun and the curries very delicious. Would absolutely recommend it and do it again!

Priya is a very welcoming and incredibly friendly woman. She explained everything to us and allowed us to work together. It was a super fun experience and the food was delicious! A must-visit in Ella! And all this for only 2500 rupees.
