The Lakeside Farmshop Country Cafe

We had lunch, and it was delicious! The portions were generous, and I would definitely recommend the nut roast—it was the best I've ever tasted.

The staff here is exceptionally friendly, and they even welcome dogs! The coffee is excellent, and the sweets are outstanding. I've visited a few times recently and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The small shop inside offers a great selection of craft beers, gins, and more.

Really friendly staff and great food at affordable prices. On the entrance gate says closed Mondays and Tuesdays but was open today. Must ask about new opening hours.

This café is fantastic! The food is delicious and well-priced. I can't believe all the exciting new changes they’ve made. There are beautiful outdoor seating options and plenty of space for children to roam around. It’s a wonderful family-friendly café that is also dog-friendly. We always make a point to visit when we're nearby. The new owners are lovely and always eager to make guests happy.

Saturday morning breakfast. stir eggs on muffin were boiled to perfection, sausage with roasted egg on white roll was huge (and tasty) traditional yorkshire breakfast had some of the biggest sausages at all and the vegan breakfast (not shown on the menu specifically but readily available on request) was great, nothing would change in it. the staff was great, friendly and went out of the way to make us welcome. had not waited long since there was no waiting queue when we arrived at 9:30, but shortly after that it was out. obviously popular, but much space inside and outside.
