Rivers Kuntry Katfish - Ellisville

It's somewhat ironic to look this up on Urban Spoon since this place is anything but urban. This isn't my first visit to Rivers, and I've consistently enjoyed delicious food and attentive service. This visit was no exception. I loved everything I tried, from the cooked shrimp and fish fillets to the fried oysters. The hushpuppies are among the best I've ever had. I definitely think it's worth a trip to the "Kuntry."

The food and service were outstanding. The steak and baked potato were delicious, but the homemade ice cream was truly exceptional!

This restaurant serves the best catfish in the area. The fish is fresh and incredibly tasty. You can also enjoy delicious sides like roasted corn on the cob, turnip greens, baked potatoes, and of course, hush puppies and fries. My son ordered the ribs, and they were juicy and flavorful. The coleslaw is fantastic as well!

My dad J.V.Pool and I have been eating here for years. We have friends who go with us every week. No complaint yet. Seeing the fish and eating is not the only thing that's good. You have the best steak ever. My father and my mother were their first cousins. Try this and I know you're going back. You also have the biggest burger I've ever seen.

Rivers is the BEST! Worth the drive...every single time! Best hushpuppies in the South!
