Candito’s Pizzeria And Ice Cream Parlor

I 've driven by many times and decided to give Candito 's a shot; what the heck, it 's only pizza. Called ahead to order a Sicilian syle, but unfortunately we are all out of Sicilian. Hmm, ok, I 'll take a deluxe traditional pizza. Was told it would be ready for pickup in 20 30 minutes. I arrive at 35 minutes and it wasn 't quite ready. Some sort of problem with the credit card machine. Whilst I waited for things to be sorted out, I along with 4 other customers, who were also waiting, was able to watch the staff behind the Covid barrier run the store. A bit discombobulated at best. It did not appear that there was any order to what was going on. Lot 's of people, but not a lot of pizza or ice cream coming out of the kitchen. At the 40 minute mark, my pizza popped out of the kitchen and I offered to pay cash since the person at the counter was still wrangling with the credit card system. Overall, the pizza was just fine I give it 4 stars. Not the best, but by all means, not the worst I 've ever had at much nicer places. Although there is a dining room at Candito 's, it 's pretty funky and really resembles a place that a person would just take their to go pizza from the pickup counter, sit down and eat it instead of going to wherever it is that people go with take out pizza. Again, the the pizza was just fine! Everything else needs some work. Sorry, no photos today.

We had the old school white pizza last week. It was excellent. Best pizza in Elwood City. So good that we’re getting one today.

My gf ordered a pizza it cost around $21. The delivery driver took her $40 and left before giving back her change. Don't let the delivery drivers take people's money.

Food is outstanding. Service is walk up to window snd order have a seat and they will bring to table. Staff is wonderful and friendly.
