Firehouse Subs Elm Grove

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. There is an older woman who appears to be in her late 50s with white hair, and her attitude is quite unpleasant. She was rude, dismissive, and didn't pay attention to my order. Instead of asking if I wanted a combo or a medium sandwich, she made mistakes with my order. Overall, her lack of professionalism was frustrating. I will definitely be returning to Cousins Subs instead, and tomorrow I plan to call for a refund.

It was my first time trying Firehouse Subs, and I have to say, it's officially my new go-to sandwich shop. The sub I had was outstanding!

The older lady working during lunch today was quite unprofessional. It's unacceptable to reprimand and speak down to employees in front of customers. I also had to wait 15 minutes for my order because the staff appeared unsure of what to do and seemed too nervous to perform their tasks around her. While I really enjoy the food, the slow service and condescending treatment of employees created an uncomfortable experience for guests.

When I opened the box, I was surprised to find that the sandwich was mostly just meat and bread. I expected it to include fresh toppings like lettuce, tomato, and onions, as is common at other sub chains. Unfortunately, the sandwich felt small compared to those from other places, and without fresh toppings, it lacked substance. Overall, I wasn't impressed with Firehouse Subs, and I regretted not going to the place next door, as I had originally intended.

I've heard amazing things about these subs, so I decided to give this place a try twice. Unfortunately, both times fell short of my expectations. I stopped by today during lunch and there was just one person ahead of me. It took at least 10 minutes for them to make my sandwich, and the guy preparing it really needed to change his mask. While it mostly covered his nose and mouth, it was quite dirty and honestly a bit off-putting. The sandwich itself was okay, but the bread was soggy. Overall, it wasn't my favorite experience. I really hope they can improve, as this place is conveniently located near my house.
