Finally got to visit this laid back brewery in Mountain View. They sit in a fairly new strip mall, right next to, a trending Peruvian chicken spot. If that 's not enough, and/or too pricey, Alpenglow is in literal walking distance of a handful of fast food restaurants. Basically, they always have a food truck. Who I assume to be the owner and operator, was very cool. He had great humor and was very knowledgeable. He had great tunes playing and I felt comfortable being the sole customer while I was there. They have a popcorn machine with seasonings, as well as art spread throughout their space, for sale. I enjoyed their Hefe, and their Daydrinker. I can 't wait to return!
Nice stop for a beer. Free popcorn and some good beer. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon.
I was a regular at the old brewery in this location (Resolution) since the day they opened. The new brewers have taken over the space and made a few changes, but thankfully the beers haven’t changed all that much. There’s several familiar names brew styles back on the menu, along with a few new styles that give the entire menu a lot of different choices. My old standby (Neighborhood IPA) is back and it’s not *quite* as good as the old recipe in its heyday, but it’s still pretty tasty. This is always a great quiet place to enjoy some good beers and I highly recommend it!
I really wanted to try the beer, I went in, I was one of three people in there. Myself the server and I'm assuming another customer or a buddy to the server. I stood in line for 10 minutes and the server never stopped talking to the other guy I made it obvious I wanted to order but was ignored. There was no point in being rude so I just left a went to turnagain. Still would've liked to try the beer tho
