The first time I was here, I got the brisket plate. First I liked the amount of brisket. I thought there could have been a little more like two more half strips. It was good. The Mac and cheese is great, it has a beautiful taste and creamier texture on it. The potato salad was good. My drink was the 32 oz fresh strawberry limonade. It was great. Overall, the food was good. Would I come back? Sure, I'd just see how the rest of the meat tastes. As far as I consistently return and recommend the place, I think there are better places out there. I wouldn't be so fast to recommend this place to my friends, based on the brisket, because that's the meat you need at BBQ places. I tasted. This brisket is good, but it doesn't fall out. I can't come back to this restaurant.

Holy Moly!!!!!!! This hidden jewel is on the spot! I wanted to try this place. Everything else was closed. If you want authentic Texas BBQ Omg this is the one!! Five stars!!!

It's been a year since I've been here and the food experience has really changed. The brisket was dry the pork rib was tough the chicken dry. My daughter order chicken strips the adult plate and that only came with three strips. The chicken strips were over cooked and the fries were cooked in old oil. The cook came out and apologized and said he told the owner that the oil needs to be changed. He also said the food is in a warmer. We waited for over thirty minutes for our food and it's already been cooked. Then on top of that they removed the three orders and wanted to charge 18 percent on top of the bill total because there were six of us but only three ate. I won't be going over there anymore. Ps if I could give it no stars I would .

The cole slaw was solid, the mac and cheese was good, it had something that was a little sweet on it that was a little off, but not horrible. My brisket was dry, a little disappointed overall.

We arrived just before closing on a Friday night after leaving San Antonio. They were out of brisket but they made it right by giving us extra pulled pork, the smoke on the ribs,pork, chicken and sausage was perfect! They serve fresh cut French fries that were delicious.It was clean,the service was great and they were friendly even though it was just before closing. I highly recommend it.
