Gino's Pizza - Elmhurst

This is a charming pizza restaurant. The pizza was incredibly delicious, and the crust and sauce were excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful old school NYC pizzeria with a welcoming feeling. Variety of cakes on thin thick crusts (Sicily, Grandma, etc.) and some medium pepper rolls.

I used to come here as a child, but I completely forgot about this place until a friend mentioned it recently. It’s been over a decade since my last visit! For this trip, I ordered the garlic knots and was very impressed with both the food and the service. It was quite quiet when I left, and the service was quick. The garlic knots were crispy on the outside and chewy and dense on the inside. The bits of garlic on top were very fresh and flavorful. I definitely need to try the pizza next time. One area for improvement would be to label the pizzas displayed, so customers don’t have to ask what each one is called. I think this would make things more efficient and speed up the process, as the names and prices are listed on the menu but not on the display.

I highly recommend this restaurant—10 out of 10! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Honestly, you can't go wrong with 5 warm butter garlic knots for just $2!

I go there since 1986 and the pizza is ALWAYS amazing. Just thinking about it makes me salivate!
