Pancakes were too bland and dry for my liking as well. Although the food was subpar, the staff was courteous and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice since it has been recently renovated and has clean bathrooms. I'm not sure if I would go back given the amount of competition nearby such as Rainbow Cafe and/or Christopher's.
Have not been here in a while. Restaurant is modern and updated. It looks to be a very popular place. I hade an asparagus omelet with a biscuit, and a side of crispy bacon. My husband had corn beef hash, with buttermilk pancakes, and 2 eggs sunny side up. The quantity of food was impressive and it was cooked perfectly. The only negative thing I can say is they did not bring the food at the same time so I sat there while the waitress made 3 trips. The food was still warm so no harm. When you leave they have a little kiosk to buy deserts to go. They also have a cute boutique shop you can browse around. It's just a homey, nice place to go. Their menu is massive, and a good variety. I'd say average price of entrée is $12 $15. Staff is friendly.
It's the worst place I've ever been. I ordered an omelette and they gave me everything raw, that was disgusting, so I called the waitress to explain my problem, she agreed that my omelette was not well cooked, she took my plate and went to talk to the owner of the place, but the owner said that for her taste it was well cooked, by God the vegetables were raw which is ok but the egg was completely raw, she tried to argue that it was melted cheese but it was obvious that it was not! Of course, since she wasn't going to eat it, her owner's attitude was disastrous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! (unless you want to have a bad time with such poor quality of food and owner)
Very good overall. The omelet wasn't a traditional omelet but it is good. I like that the cheese caramelized on the ends of it. The english muffin was good. The pancakes to me smelled like pretzels at first, then I tasted them and they taste like pretzels still. It was very good. One of my favorite pancakes for sure. I definitely recommend coming to this place. I will definitely be returning. The menu is kind of small but that is ok.
We LOVE Our Kitchen! Our family has been going to Our Kitchen for over 30 years. The potato pancakes are the thinnest we have found in the area. Nice and crispy. We drive 30 minutes to eat here even though there are restaurants closer.
