Amazing spicy jerked chicken and hush puppies! The chicken was barbecued which gave it great flavor and the hush puppies were a sweet corn flavor. Chris was our server and he was outgoing and personable and made us feel like we were regulars...which hopefully we will be! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

There doesn't seem to be much consistency in the meals. I feel like a chicken pecking at a key, hoping to get good quality. The hush puppies are always good, so that's a plus. I usually get the shrimp and grits. A couple of times, it's been delicious, but most times, the shrimp, although tasty, have been overcooked and chewy, and the grits, bland. Tonight I ordered extra cheese as I was urged to do by staff, and I couldn't taste either cheese or seasoning. In the past, I have added my own cheese and had good results. It's the same with the mac and cheese and the catfish; sometimes good, sometimes bland.

I was in from tennesse on a business trip. Wonderful customer service. And the food was amazing. I will eat here again.

The owner was very pleasant and welcoming. Great food too. Will definitely be back. The Chicken and Waffle was on point.

Phenomenal food/drinks and experience. If you haven’t been here, I highly recommend. The owner Chris was an amazing host, and very accommodating. He made sure we were very well taken care of and always had a smile on our face. His Fiancé Keisha who is also the chef, makes the best food. Everything that was set in front of us was perfect, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This place deserves to be flooded with people. If you’re looking for soul food, this is where you want to be. There isn’t a place within 50 miles that tops what they have to offer.
