Lena Dominican Restuarant - Elmont

Perhaps they were just having a bad day, but the Fried Pork chops at this restaurant had absolutely no flavor or taste. The pork chop was extremely tough and I couldn't even finish it, it was that terrible. It's no surprise that they don't have many customers.

I like their food I’m not Dominican so don’t judge (my friends think the food is bland). What’s unfortunate is that they tend to forget to pack key items (Today was a $20 garlic shrimp). Made it worse when I called to inform even offered to drive and pick up and was told, “we packed it and you can get a refund from Uber Eats”. Lol. The reason for a one star review is simply for the customer service and an accumulation of poor food experiences (5 times). You can definitely find bland or missing food elsewhere with much better vibes!

The fried pork and the beef empanada was the worst I’ve ever had in my life!!! Some of the pork was terribly seasoned and dry like wood and the other pieces was greasy, the pork was not edible and was trashed. There was barely any filling in the empanada that had pastry so hard it damn near cut my lip!!! Please take heed to my warning, DO NOT ORDER THE PORK OR EMPANADA FROM THIS PLACE….IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!

I haven’t been here in a long time service was amazing. The Rice was as I like it soft, white and mushy, I got steak and goat for dinner the taste was excellent

Cozy and clean ambiance. Great food and fabulous prices.
