Chi Taco Grill - Elmwood Park

The steak torta is awesome. I love steak that is grilled. It is also NOT overcooked so you get the good flavor. I only finished less than half and I'm stuffed. Green salsa is goood.

Food is fresh and delicious and prices are fair. They go out of their way to make you feel like a valued customer.

Damn good tacos! The chorizo and nopales were cooked just right. Very casual dining atmosphere, you order and pick up at a counter and take it to either the bar (looking out the window was nice) or a table. Nice selection of bottled sodas and such. When I ordered, she gave me the choice of the spicy or mild salsa for them, I went with the spicy and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Hello Foodzies, for lunch we decided to try a local fast food taco place, Chi Tacos at 7530 w Grand Ave in Elmwood Park. We've driven by here a lot and decided to give it a try. Not a bad place, pretty plain window seating and a large picnic style seating inside. Outside patio offers individual seating with umbrellas. Our order taker was polite and friendly behind a suspended piece of plastic. We both chose the steak bowls with an American twist 5 fresh cut fries. Decent size portions with beans (a little watery) rice, lettuce and steak. Steak was grilled and seasoned well the fries were ok, a few of mine were under cooked though. I give it 2 1/2 stars try it and let me know what you think. Ciao Ciao for now.

The chicken bowls here are so good and the chicken here is one of the best I've eaten with the bowl of you get tortillas with it you can littelry make a taco with it and it's soooo good. If you live around the edge of Chicago like me or live in elmwood park go check this place it out it's great.
