Nongkhai Thai - Eltham

This is the first time using yelp, but being in the hospitality business myself I can talk from experience.

UPDATE: I'm updating my review to 5 stars (from 4) because this has become my "go to" restaurant (and I rarely check in).

You can always tell a Thai restaurant that makes its pastes from scratch and this is one of them.

What a great cosy little place in the centre of eltham. Staff are friendly and the food is so tasty. Duck curry was flavoursome and just delicious

We used to dine in and have take away all the time....it used to be a very good local Thai restaurant...however, we wont be going back or taking out again...It started with our soups which were, put simply, sweet as sugar and lacked that Thai ooomph....our mains were nondescript and the Roti wasnt cooked and was like eating warm dough....we wont be back nor will we get take out again.....
