Therefore, the quality of the courts should also be increased. the ingredients are high quality and everything is lovingly arranged. but who pays about 100 euro per person for three courses with wine tasting can expect a little more tasteful finesse.
We were with our son in the restaurant of the castle because we wanted to eat especially well and especially. the disappointment was great because the served foam soup was unfortunately cold and also the main dishes were a grace. the zander was burned black and a single rind was found in the potato/gurkensalat between the non-gar kartoffeln. all for 26€, quite undamaged! the Wienerschnitzel were unfortunately also only expensive and not good! Unfortunately this restaurant is only in a beautiful environment but the kitchen of our opinion is a catastrophe!
Unfortunately, the restaurant, just as the hotel changed the owner, now it is unfortunately not clear how to continue with this former jewel of the rheingaus. the personal tries to compensate for this main problem after forces - unfortunately this is what is quite human not possible.
With good mood and with a part of our family we wanted to spend a relaxing lunch together. We have already given credits to friends several times and now we wanted to test it personally. Apart from us, there were only one other couple, so overall 7 people wanted to be served. the staff consisted of three ladies and two gentlemen.Our menu came after 30 minutes, of which 2 main dishes were not available from 5-8 main dishes. this was only communicated to us after the second attempt of an order. the wine card (here came one for 5 people) was then, after asking for a hot wine card - also out. the food was then taken up and the leaving of supplements was significantly reduced. twice communicated to the service. when the food was applied, the not desired supplements were on the teller with the comment "Oh, I can't do anything anymore." with humor, the supplement was handed over to the husband. while I and my brother still ate, the service then wanted to "clean" the tellers of our partner. I find this extremely unfriendly. my partner has refilled the wein throughout our stay, once the service has managed to pay attention and react accordingly. the dessert order also went completely unprofessional of the place, the espresso and cappucino came before the cake. from then on, the services were observed somewhat critically. the one after the return was acknowledged with a 30-minute waiting period, however, we have slowly assumed the tolerance for bad behavior in a 5-star restaurant. At the time of the restaurant, a now added couple, at the side table, the head, after 30 minutes inattentively, did not shake up any menu edition, the two have left the location furiously. at the reception I took advantage of the opportunity to make my unmistakable air and met a very understanding reception chief who immediately told me that a reduction/restructuration was the original. He offered us a drink at the expense of the house. here you met again on desired shapes of the bypass. from this reason, I would ask the hotel leadership to perhaps young ladies and gentlemen who are still in training not to challenge themselves alone - this requires a professional support from professional staff. someone who leads and accompanies. for seven guests, this should be feasible. the young ladies were obviously not working for too long in the service and in the ambiente and the trips you can expect. the food was good and I would recommend at any time.
Small beautiful furnished room with historical and elegant flair. We enjoyed every single dish!!! Try the carpaccio or the risotto. My husband loved the tender Simmentaler beef with the best and most creamiest mashed potatoes ever!
