The ice cream shop is a must stop. Then spend time in the attached gift shop. Many special and unusual gifts and mementos. The owner and staff are so friendly and down to earth and fun to visit with.

Stopped here for a pre dinner ice cream treat while staying in Ely. The ice cream was expensive, as ice cream is when bought at a shop, but the waffle cone and ice cream were very good! The store itself had interesting decor and fun table seating. There was a store mascot golden retriever who begged for droppings and the palor was connected to a little gift shop.

Patsy was a sweetheart while we shopped. Very personable, friendly, caring and patient while we picked stuff out. We had fun talking and sharing stories, etc with her before going back to have some ice cream. I was surprised and excited to see that they also have dairy free and lactose free ice cream, so I was able to have some. A 5 star from me! We also met the owner Sara and she was very nice and friendly and gave us info on places to see and eat, and she was patient with waiting to close up till we were done.

The best ice cream ever! I have never even heard of mini donut sundays until I visited Northern Expressions! The smell from the homemade waffle cones is heavenly! What a gem with an awesome gift shop too
