Silver State - Elyria

Big Burger. After a long ride on the Loneliest Highway in America we were starved and found this little diner. It's like a timewarp on the fifties where the food is good and no one has ever heard of cholesterol. I had a burger that was big enough to land planes and it really hit the place. My brother had the chicken steak. Both were excellent. It was a great success. There was no dinner conversation. We ate too much. Just remember, it's a diner, not fast food. They order it, they cook it. It's real food.

I had fried the chicken steak with one side of cookies and Gravy and there was so much! I'm a big eater and I couldn't finish it.

Best breakfast, definitely worth waiting... it was Rodeo weekend and busy. In 20 minutes. Boy was delicious! Will go back when we go past thru and make me look good. Bomber cinnamon rolls, worth the stop.

This place was great!... Brother and i stopped through on a trip and really enjoyed the food and Debi the owner was a hoot.. If you like good food and friendly atmosphere/service do yourself a favor and stop by.
