Island Time Tavern - Emerald Isle

Great atmosphere....exceptional staff...outdoor and indoor...great music!

Awesome quiet place to enjoy the water front and enjoy cold beverages shoot a game of pool or just sit on the patio deck and enjoy the wildlife .

This is hands down the best bar on the island. Possibly the best bar in the state. Amazing atmosphere, every surface is spotless, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and intensely capable. Great specials and games set up to keep a large group entertained for hours. We went back two nights in a row we enjoyed so much.

On Saturday night it was completely empty and I can understand why. We went to the bar and sat down and the beard station stared at us. We asked him if he had a meal randomly and he reacted with not a restaurantman, this is a bar seemed like an unnecessary rude answer to an innocent question.

We enjoyed having drinks on the terrace in February as we cannot do this at home. It was in the early evening and it was the perfect atmosphere. The drinks were perfect. My husband had some IPAs and I had the Cosmo and the Coconut Dreamz. It was perfect. Carl was great. He was so nice to talk to him. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.
