Salt - Emerald Isle

I haven't been here since the shutdown honestly, but we used to go every wednesday night. Great music and atmosphere!

Visited Salt life on Friday night. There were seven of us in our party. We ask to eat out side. There was some confusion about the tables. Which made us very late being seated. However, Our waitress was wonderful. Wish I’d remembered her name blonde hair. Food was great.As we left we ask the bartender to take a group picture. Her response was (ugg NO)The waitress gladly volunteered.We are permanent residents of Morehead City. Always looking for new place to eat. Everyone enjoyed the dinner. But was spoiled by a very rude bartender. She has black hair. If she is working we will not comeback.Wondering how many other customers has she negatively affected.As a fellow business owner!D J

Worst place I've ever been to in my entire life. Staff was rude and ultra aggressive and I wouldn't be surprised if they were on a Bath Salts and Steroid cocktail. Degenerates. Owner was a rude and vulgar and a completely awful human just like all the bartenders. Never go to this place. It's disgusting and sad that a place like this with idiot people like this actually exists. Hope they go out of business and move back up North.

This pace has great bands and amazing DJs. The atmosphere is epic. Huge dance floor, access to three sides of the bar and an outdoor area with a flame pit when it's cold. Perfect place for a few friends to meet up and let loose or for a big gathering like your next birthday! Also has huge, super-clean bathrooms that have like 5 stalls and a huge mirror over the sink. Salt is definitely a step up but not so much that anyone feels out of place.

I went with some friends while we were on vacation and the bar looks amazing! It's so pretty and inviting inside. The guys(bouncers/security) outside were super nice and friendly. Unfortunately the night we went there were hardly any people inside. I will say we were there off season and they could very well have something to do with it. However we just came from another club down the street that was popping. I'm not sure why though because this one looked so much better! Maybe they should advertise no cover charge or something. When asking some locals the reason we went to the other place first is they said this bar had really high cover charge. When we got there, there was no charge.
