Cabucci's - Emeryville

It's been years since I secretly compared every BLAT (BLT with Avocado) I come to Bucci's BLAT Panini, and so far she still takes the crown. This includes some of the best deliis and sandwich shops in a number of cities, including some with hot chefs at the tax (which are usually overrated). It is just the perfect bread, the perfect ratio of bread to filling and high quality fresh ingredients. It's not hard to do, but it's the attention to detail that looks through. They would be surprised to see how many places a disappointing BLT exhibit. Far from a one-hit wonder but, Bucci also offers other lunch options. Especially worth mentioning is their chicken enchilada special. Service is friendly, especially if you are addicted enough to avoid a regular that if you are the neighborhood, is somehow hard to avoid.

Cabucci's is a little of everything; Good to eat everywhere. Yummy per changing breakfast specialties: your standard bagel sandwiches, freshly squeezed (if you wait) OJ, decent coffee line up and pastries. A varied lunch menu consisting of all kinds of Zuppa, Insalate, Panini, Pizze and Plates. If you order in advance, you can order lunch packages, delivery service, pastas, etc! These people are sweets, and strive to be friendly and provide a good respectful service. You have beer and wine along with your normal American and Italian sodas, smoothies and ice shakes. They even sell coffee through the pound and gift certificates. There is a good amount of counterseat, tables inside and out of the restaurant, but I love to sit at the big stone tables in the atrium, as there are still technical in the building that you are protected from the elements, and people will take your food. Such a treat!
