Jamba - Emeryville

My mom and I ordered drinks, and it was amusing because she likes creamy flavors while I prefer tart ones. She ended up with a tart drink, and I got a milky one. Since it was our first time trying these drinks, we decided to switch after tasting each other’s.

We arrived at 7:20 PM, only to find that they were closed. Although their posted hours indicate they should be open until 8:00 PM, it appears they decided to close early.

They stop taking phone orders around 7:40 PM, and even if you arrive before closing time, they won’t accept your order. When I mentioned that I had tried calling ahead, the girl gave me an excuse about the phones not being plugged in, which I suspect was not true and that they simply ignore calls. They claimed they only had 30 minutes until closing, but I assume that isn’t enough time for three people to serve customers. Management should consider extending the closing time to prevent losing sales from staff ignoring calls and turning away customers before the official closing hour. I probably won’t return to this Jamba location again.

Always so delicious. Their juices always hit the spot. Specially on a hot summer day. I had my son drop his all over the floor outside and I went back in and asked if it was possible to remake it and they didn't fuss and quickly made me another at nocharge.

I tried the Orange C Booster and it was quite good. The service is quick and efficient. They offer a wide variety of options, including smoothies, juices, and breakfast dishes. I don't recall if they have any indoor seating—perhaps that's due to COVID. However, there is a nice terrace for outdoor seating.
