Why Cook? - Emeryville

We had an event catered by Why Cook Cafe on 9/12. The staff was extremely accommodating to our requests. All of our guests were impressed by the delicious food!

WHY COOK is a great work Cafe. I have eaten here a couple of dozen times. It is amazing the diversity of food. I have had their burgers, burritos, salads and sandwiches.The staff is friendly and the owner runs a tight ship.

Not happy. My food was not hot and the bread was very soggy like it had been sitting for a while. I chose the time of pick up for freshness so there's no reason to make it ahead of time and have it sitting out. First time going for break and I don't think I would go back unless they fix it.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was rude, there was a hair in my salad, and overall it was not pleasant. It's a shame because there are many people working in the Towers who would appreciate a good lunch spot.

I frequently visit this restaurant to enjoy their delicious and well-prepared food. The quick service is another plus. I give it 5 stars.
