Empire Village Inn

The pizza was ok, but a little salty and hardly any cheese. That was the consensus for several people, not just my own opinion. We did take out but people were nice. The atmosphere seemed good.

More than 50 minutes passed after we ordered, and we still hadn’t received our meal.

You can’t eat pizza inside and an employee tried to force us to go outside on a very hot day. Julie was very rude. Yelled at us and started a fight over us trying to sit at a bar that no one sits at. Kept insisting they are too busy when there were empty tables and an empty bar. This place will keep empty tables for no one in hopes that someone will show up. Eventually the manager let us sit at bar but employees complained about us behind our back that we were sitting at the bar and we felt very uncomfortable and felt pressured to order very sweet drinks. I’ve never been to a pizza place where you can’t eat the pizza you order and pay for inside the restaurant. I guess there is a first time for everything

The people and the local stories were friendly and entertaining. It was a history lesson spending more than an hour next to local legend George. He nursed a few beverages while his pizza sat comfortably in a box, awaiting departure at closing time. We left our cell by mistake, and they had found it and had it safe and secured when we returned! THANK YOU!
