Pizzicato Gourmet Pizza - Encinitas

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic, but unfortunately, I have to give it a 3-star review. The hours listed online and on Yelp do not match their actual business hours. Whenever I call, nobody answers the phone, and whenever I try to visit in person, they are closed. It's frustrating because I go during their posted open hours, but they are never open. Are they closed permanently?

The pizza and arancini at this restaurant are top-notch. It's definitely worth the drive from Vista to try them out.

I was amazed by this restaurant! It truly is a hidden gem, and I can't believe I had never heard of it before tonight. The pizza was delicious, the wine was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Make sure to try Pizza@Portafoglio for yourself - you won't regret it!

Three Italians opened a pizza shop for us in Encinitas, and after nearly one year of residing in this glorious city, we have found the gem of pizza that has been missing from our lives (and I haven't tasted since my days in New York). Welcome to the last pizza you'll have to order! Except for Mondays when they're closed, this is your new go to. Buon appetito!

Place made it through covid, should give you a little hint. Talk to the owner he opened up right before the pandemic hit. Super nice guy and hospitable. Made several suggestions to me and my boys we appreciate it all of them. Have been back several times.
