The Old Wheatsheaf - Enfield

The staff at this restaurant are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. This was our first time visiting, but my family and I will definitely be returning. The food was excellent and the restaurant was clean. The staff was consistently cleaning throughout the day, which was nice to see. Although it was quiet when we were there, it is a really good place to eat. I highly recommend it.

I made a reservation for a table for three of us at 5 p.m. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and ordered drinks at the bar. We decided to share two Classic hot dogs from the menu, along with halloumi fries, regular fries, and chicken tenders. Ordering was quick and easy, and our food arrived promptly and looked delicious. The hot dogs were flavorful, especially with the addition of crispy shallots, ketchup, American mustard, and pickles. The challenge was eating them without making a mess! The halloumi fries and chicken were also delicious. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff were fantastic and we can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you for the warm welcome, excellent food, and great service. (My only regret is not taking a photo of our meal to share with others!)

We recently held a party in The Vault, the events room at the restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the space itself was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful, coming in every 15 minutes to take orders and saving us the trip to the bar.

We had a brilliant evening. The staff were very happy and friendly. Catered to our every need and the dogs. The only thing I would say is when they took food orders they didnt take table numbers so it was hard to keep track of when food was coming out and whos was whos. Other than this minor detail, we had an amazing engagement party. Thank you team for making our lives so much easier.

This is a real hidden gem in Enfield. The team organised a 40th birthday party for almost 150 guests in the outside garden and it couldn't have gone any better. The food was amazing (a hog roast), the location was great and the kids (of which there were over 30) had a wonderful time with games and their own food choices. The staff were excellent and really helpful. Elizabeth in particular was fantastic in preparing the event to suit all of our needs. We would definitely recommend.
