The Urban on Lantana - Engadine

This is my 1st time being back at The Urban on Lantana since the previous owners. Sadly it has lost its polished look and from the looks of it, the locals know it. In saying this it did fill up while we were there for about an hour. When we entered it was almost empty on a Saturday morning while the ones in the Engadine shopping centre were flourishing. I can see why not only does it not feel the same the food does not look as amazing. For example, the Brekky Roll is just plonked on a plate with no garnish though tasty enough. The Halloumi stack had very very thin slices of halloumi while the eggs were poached to perfection. The coffee was very weak. The tea was ordinary and a little tainted (WTF! . It is an obstacle course to get to the toilet, surely that is a WHS issue? The staff were very friendly and a pleasure to be served by. I am sorry but I won 't be back. I am so sad I had this experience and the cafe is not what it used to be.

Had an Awesome brunch at The Urban. Atmosphere is great and friendly staff. They do get busy but worth the wait if they get backed up. Keep up the good work guys.

Excellent value for money, the food portions are so big and delicious with super friendly staff. Great bang for your buck. Will definitely return!!!! Insane shake, ALWAYS, insane shake!!!
