Menagerie Caterer's - ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS

The store is sparse but the food was pretty decent. The Russian Cole slaw and macaroni salad were both excellent. Chicken cutlets were exactly what you'd expect. Meatballs in a sweet and sour sauce were a ok. I'd definitely be back.

Tried to stop in this morning to pick up a dessert for my Rabbi nephew and his family. They made my wife stand outside because the counter person was in the middle of an order. There was an owner? and another employee there. They did not let my wife in and when she asked about desserts they said what do you want she did not know and wanted to see some. Someone brought her a few to look at while she stayed outside. What a joke! This place is only open because they are Kosher an observant -people put up with it otherwise they would have been gone years ago!

The food that we have ordered from Menagerie has always delicious. Menagerie also has great customer service. For Passover, they allowed us to customize some of the specials they were offering without hesitation. Additionally, one recent Sunday, when they were open by appointment only, I called up in the morning to ask if they could quickly create a platter to comfort someone who was mourning which they quickly did. I will continue ordering from Menagerie and very glad they are in our neighborhood!
