Lovely family restaurant! Go every week after church and it always has the best best best breakfast and more amazing service. If you are looking for a great meal, an awesome **** Mary and really cool environment I wouldn’t skip on zarates. Going here regularly has kept a smile on my face since the storm !

Found Zarates on line and I was wanting a home cooked meal. I had sliced turkey breast, dressing and cranberry sauce. Side salad was Iceburg lettuce with cukes and chunky tomato wedges. The lettuce had browning parts. The balsamic vinaigrette was great.I've ever had dressing made with dark rye and other rye bread. It was not for me. The mashed taters were from powder. The gravey was funky. I want to try it again before I leave. Excellent service.

Walked in went to bathroom that was old, stinky and filthy and walked right out. Menu was stained, dirty and outdated as well. Always remember however the bathroom is the kitchen is as well !

Overall, it was a good experience. The food was hot fresh. Prices are a little steep for breakfast foods, but portions are generous.Restaurant very clean, smells clean and decor is very cute. Staff was friendly and tended to all needs.The only complaint is that they charge 3.99% on debit/credit.Would I go back? Yes. But I will bring cash
