The Placida Pearl - Englewood

The best karaoke night is on Thursdays, and Toni, the karaoke host, performs on Friday evenings during dinner. She has an incredible selection of playlists and is like a virtual iPod!

I regret visiting Placida Pearl. I really hope the sushi is good, but the service and atmosphere were disappointing! Two groups even left because they weren’t acknowledged at all. What a shame!

Terrible service. I couldn't even get a ginger ale. Manager Tony is very unprofessional, spending her time singing instead of attending to customers. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere!

Sushi was wonderful. The “K”rab Rangoon, not so much. Deep stuff is wasted on me. Drinking was great! (Thanks Tricia) and service was excellent!

My husband and I arrived around 7:15 and only a handful of tables were occupied. Despite having 3 chefs behind the sushi counter working, it took 45 minutes for our edamame appetizer to arrive and another 45 minutes for 1 California Roll and 6 pieces of nigiri to come. Another customer who came in 30 minutes after us walked out with their to go order before our main arrived. If it had been busy, I understand, but this was ridiculous. I’ll never go back… 90 minutes for a California roll…no thanks.
